PCC Dress Codes and Policies
Clubhouse Attire
Casual, tasteful attire appropriate for dining is permitted throughout the day and evening. Clean and presentable tennis attire, golf attire, and appropriate fitness or athletic wear are permitted in casual dining areas at night, provided such attire is neat, in good condition, and suitable for a shared dining environment. As a reminder, gentlemen are asked to remove headwear while indoors, except in the Men’s Locker Room.
1. Members and their guests are expected to dress in a manner that is appropriate to the pride and traditions of the members of a fine private Club.
2. Gentlemen should wear their golf, tennis, or buttondown shirts tucked inside their trousers at all times. The club will allow shirts that are designed to be “untucked,” such as a “Tommy Bahama” style or an “Untucked” designed shirt.
3. Gentlemen should always remove their headgear while in any area in the clubhouse except in the Men’s Locker Room.
4. In the past, denim clothing was prohibited. The Board recognizes that fashion trends have changed and "designer jeans" have become appropriate in many social settings. Consequently, denim is permitted in the common and casual areas of the club. Members wearing denim are asked to abide by the intent of this policy. Denim is prohibited on the golf course and practice areas and in the Bayview Room. Minors are to follow the same guidelines as adults.
5. Swimming attire is not acceptable inside the Clubhouse. Persons in bathing suits should-wear the appropriate outerwear and footwear when inside the clubhouse or on the balcony of the Trophy Dining room. Cover ups should provide for appropriate length and "visibility" coverage for all persons, including minors.
6. Fitness center workout attire should provide for appropriate personal coverage while working out. Individuals must be appropriately attired to enter the Clubhouse.
7. Jackets for gentlemen may be required for the Bayview Room for specific events.
8. Soft spikes only are permitted on club property. Golf and tennis shoes should be cleaned before entering any buildings using equipment provided at the tennis facility and the golf entrance of the clubhouse. No court shoes are allowed in the fitness facility as the court material can damage the exercise equipment.
9. Members are responsible for ensuring that minors under their supervision also follow the dress code. All minors should be properly attired in the Clubhouse and at any of the facilities on the property. The dress code for teens is the same as for adults.
Members, minors, and designated guests in violation of the dress code will receive a written reminder of the dress code from the General Manager. Further violations will be reviewed by the House Committee with recommendation for further action. Repeat offenders will be subject to the violation policy.
