Buddy Whitten Bio
Born and raised in Pensacola by Whit and Kathleen Whitten, who still live in the Pensacola area. Buddy won the Divot Derby and Southern Junior Championships as a teenager. Grew up as a junior at PCC and won the Junior Club Championship. Played on a State Championship Golf Team at Escambia High School.
Attended the University of Southern Mississippi on a golf scholarship, graduated with a degree in Business. Three year service in the Army which included one year as a medic in Vietnam.
Assistant Golf Pro at Perdido Bay Inn, Meadowbrook CC, and Franklin Hills CC just outside of Detroit. Head Golf Professional at Blythfield CC for 29 years.
Married to Julianne Smith Whitten for 38 years. Julie’s mother Suzanne Merritt married Charles Merritt, who was a member at PCC for over 50 years. Julie and Buddy have a son Chris, who is the Assistant Golf Coach at University of Michigan. He is married to Dr. Amy Whitten, who is in OB/GYN at William Boumont Hospital outside Detroit.

Will Grace Bio
Born in Meridian, MS and raised in Pensacola, FL. Will grew up playing golf at Tiger Point CC in Gulf Breeze, FL. Played on the State Championship Golf Team at Gulf Breeze High School. Also was a three time winner on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, which included a Tour Championship win.
Will attended the University of West Florida on a golf scholarship, graduated with a degree in Business specializing in Comprehensive Marketing. Worked with Callaway Golf as a Technical Sales Representative for two years.
Will was able to gain valuable teaching experience by working with Ron Gring, who is a member of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Golf Instructors. While working with Ron, Will acquired general knowledge of the G.O.L.F. Machine teaching methodology. Also worked with Licensed Sports Psychologist, Dean Sunseri.
Through these highly regarded professionals Will has developed the knowledge to teach the physical and mental aspects of golf to players ranging from top professionals to novice and beginner players.
