Pensacola Country Club enjoys a long and storied history as one of the oldest private clubs in the state of Florida. Founded in 1902, the club has weathered some mighty challenges from Mother Nature. None however proved worse than in 2004 when Hurricane Ivan dealt a terrible blow to the clubhouse, the golf course and the grounds.

It was a devastating but not a knock-out punch. Its resilient membership marshaled its forces in order to complete a full scale renovation of the golf course, followed by a rebuild of the clubhouse. The new golf course, designed by Jerry Pate, opened in the fall of 2006. The clubhouse opened its new doors on January 18, 2007 and welcomed back its membership with a grand black tie affair.

The two-story clubhouse commands a magnificent view of Pensacola Bay and a dramatic Par 3 finishing hole. The luxuriously appointed rooms, large windows and spacious balconies provide breathtaking views for members and their guests to enjoy while dining or enjoying social events.

Currently the club is building a new pool and cabana and a tennis and fitness complex. Both of these are schedule for completion in 2008. Membership opportunities are currently available but limited. For more information contact
